The Fox Cities Ice Dogs delivered a commanding performance against the Sun Prairie Killer Bees, earning a decisive 16-2 road victory at the Sun Prairie Ice Arena. The Ice Dogs jumped out to a 7-1 lead in the first period, with contributions from Jeff Flicker, who notched a hat trick and three assists, and Alec Elkin, who matched that output with three goals and three assists. Rick Pinkston also had an exceptional game, registering six assists to fuel the offense. The Killer Bees struggled to keep pace, with Mike Chavez and Jake Howell scoring their only goals. Fox Cities outshot Sun Prairie 66-24, while goaltender Mitch Kroll posted a 0.941 save percentage in 40 minutes of play.
