ShareFox Cities, Fond du Lac earn road wins

The Fox Cities Ice Dogs defeated West Bend 3-1, and Fond du Lac defeated Monroe 4-0 Saturday night in Great Lakes Hockey League exhibition play.The
Ice Dogs (0-0-0 GLHL, 2-1 overall) scored the final two goals of the game to earn the road win in the
Bombers (0-0-0, 0-1-0) home opener.
Nick Henkemeyer had two goals in the contest, including the game’s first and last goals. Jeff Coopman had the game winner early in the third period.
The Ice Dogs will open their home schedule next Friday in a rematch with West Bend.
Fond du Lac moved to 3-0-0 in exhibition play with a 4-0 win in the
Blues’ (0-0-0, 0-1-0) home opner. It was the Blues first game in their first full season in Monroe.
The Bears will host West Bend next Saturday.
