The Fond du Lac Bears kept themselves alive in the race for the GLHL regular season championship with a pair of victories.

Friday, March 15
Eagle River Falcons 9, Fox Cities Ice Dogs 8
A back and forth match-up went the way of the Eagle River Falcons on Friday night as they escaped Fox Cities with the 9-8 victory. The two teams traded blows all night long with Eagle River scoring two in the first, four in the second, and three in the third, while Fox Cities scored on in the first, three in the second and four in the third. Tied 7-7 midway through the third, Mike Otto scored his lone goal of the game to put the Falcons back on top, and Todd Koritzinsky would score his sixth goal of the game with just 1:11 remaining in what would be the eventual game winner. Fox Cities would pull within one with just a few seconds remaining on a goal from Nick Henkemeyer.

Fond du Lac Bears 12, De Pere Deacons 3
The Bears offense exploded for eight goals in the games opening period en route to a 12-3 win over De Pere. The Bears' Malachi Buchholz and Nick Monfils combined for nine goals Friday, with Buchholz scoring five tally's and Monfils netting four, including three in the first period for the natural hat trick. The Bears peppered the Deacons goaltending duo of Jake Jankowski and Matt Tushaus with 57 shots on goal. Robbie Coleman (0-4-4) and Matt Letmanski (0-4-4) each had four-point nights for the Bears.

Fond du Lac Bears 6, Fox Cities Ice Dogs 5
For the second time in as many nights, the Ice Dogs kept the game as close as could be, but the Bears were the ones to come out on top 6-5. With all 11 goals in the game scored at even strength, the Bears took the early lead just 1:01 into the game on a shot by Nick Monfils. Later in the period, the Ice Dogs got two goals in 14 seconds to take a 2-1 lead into the intermission. That lead would not last long though as Anthony Grebe tied things back up 1:09 into the second. After the Bears then took a 3-2 lead, it was former Bear Clint Zumer who knotted things back up in the second period at 3-3. Nick Sirota's goal for the Bears with 43 seconds remaining would send them to the intermission with a 4-3 lead. In the third, the Bears would score twice but each time, the Ice Dogs answered within a minute to keep the game close. With the victory, the Bears kept themselves alive in the chase for the 2023-24 Great Lakes Hockey League regular season championship. They sit three points behind Portage Lake with a game in hand.

Eagle River Falcons 10, Marquette Mutineers 3
The Falcons scored five in the first period, one in the second, and four more in the third to cruise to a 10-3 win over the last place Mutineers in their final home game of the 2023-24 season. The Falcons were leed by Todd Koritzinsky who recored three goals and two assists for five points, and Zach Kennedy who had one goal and thre assists. Luke Lamb made 23 saves in net for the win. The Mutineers got goals from Neeco Belanger, Ryan Ely, and Brandon Smaby.
