M&M Shamrocks 16, Sun Prairie Killer Bees 3
The M&M Shamrocks dominated the Sun Prairie Killer Bees in a decisive 16-3 victory at Marinette Community REC Center on Friday night, in the inaugural Great Lakes Hockey League game for both teams. The Shamrocks set the pace early with three first-period goals and continued to pull away, adding four more in the second and a staggering nine in the third. Adam Lemery led the offensive onslaught with five goals and two assists, while Tim Chambaerlain contributed a hat trick and two assists. Despite the Killer Bees' attempts to push back, with goals from Logan John, Mike Chavez, and Nathan Mintenk, they couldn’t keep up with the Shamrocks' relentless pressure, as the home team fired an incredible 85 shots on goal compared to the Bees' 19. Curtis Young and Davis Nunnally split time in net for the Killer Bees, facing a barrage from M&M’s offense, while the Shamrocks’ defense held strong to secure the runaway win.

Portage Lake Pioneers, M&M Shamrocks 4
The Portage Lake Pioneers defeated the M&M Shamrocks 8-4 on Saturday at Dee Stadium, with Alec Broetzman and Ray Brice leading the scoring for the Pioneers. Portage Lake took an early lead, netting two goals in the first period, and expanded it with a strong second, scoring four more. M&M Shamrocks battled back in the third, with Adam Lemery and Dallas McLaughlin contributing, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap. Portage Lake outshot M&M 32-18, and goaltender Aaron Petrulis made 14 saves to secure the victory.
