The Papermakers used a dominant second period to pull away from the Dairy Kings, securing a 7-4 victory at Verona Ice Arena. Tied 1-1 after the first period, Mosinee erupted for four goals in the second, led by Russell Johnson’s natural hat trick, while Dane County kept pace with three of their own. Holding a 5-4 lead entering the third, the Papermakers shut down the Dairy Kings' offense, limiting them to just four shots while adding two more goals, including an empty-netter by Thomas Christensen. Jason McAloon led the way for Mosinee with a goal and four assists, while goaltender Austin Jensen made 40 saves in the win.

Eagle River Falcons 16, Fox Cities Ice Dogs 1
The Falcons dominated from start to finish in a decisive 16-1 victory over Fox Cities. The Falcons set the tone early, netting five goals in the opening period, and continued their offensive onslaught with seven more in the second before closing out with four in the third. Jacob Robinson led the charge with a hat trick, while Alex Racino and Lucas Otto each tallied two goals. Fox Cities' lone goal came in the third period from Tom Greene, but it was far from enough to slow down the high-powered Falcons' attack. Goaltender Richard Yeshe was solid in net for Eagle River, stopping 23 of 24 shots for a .958 save percentage.

Mosinee set the tone early, scoring six goals in the first period and never looking back, outshooting Sun Prairie 98-27. Jason McAloon led the offensive surge with seven goals and three assists, while Greg Hanson recorded 10 assists. Trey Zagrzebski and Mitch Filipiak each tallied hat tricks, and goaltender Ryan Meich turned away all 27 shots he faced for the shutout. Sun Prairie struggled to generate offense but managed 14 shots in the final period.

Portage Lake Pioneers 5, Eagle River Falcons 4 (SO)
The Pioneers staged a thrilling comeback to defeat Eagle River 5-4 in a shootout on Saturday night. After trailing 3-1 at the end of the first period, the Pioneers battled back with a power-play goal from Austin Mikesch in the second and two third-period goals, including another by Mikesch, to take a brief lead. Alex Hauswirth’s late power-play goal for the Falcons forced overtime, but after a scoreless extra frame, Portage Lake secured the win in the shootout. Goaltender Camden Burggrabe was solid for the Pioneers, stopping 37 of 41 shots, while Eagle River’s Mike Madosh made 30 saves in the loss.
