The only road team to pull off a victory over the weekend was the Eagle River Falcons who were able to get a rare road shutout over the Calumet Wolverines 4-0. Lucas Otto opened the scoring with a power-play goal early in the first period, and Jacob Robinson doubled the lead just minutes later. The Falcons extended their advantage in the second, with Mike Otto and Todd Koritzinsky—also on the power play—finding the back of the net. Calumet struggled to generate offense, managing only three shots in the third period, while Falcons goaltender Mike Madosh turned away all 23 shots he faced for the shutout.
