Friday, February 28
Fond du Lac Bears 9, Fox Cities Ice Dogs 2

Fond du Lac wasted no time setting the pace, striking three times in the opening period with goals from Ryan Sabel, Connor Martin, and Matt Letmanski. Fox Cities responded in the second, as Jeff Flicker put the Ice Dogs on the board before adding a late power-play goal, but Fond du Lac maintained control with tallies from Micah Buchholz and Nick Monfils. Letmanski completed his hat trick in the third period, leading a four-goal final frame for the Bears. A chippy second period saw a string of roughing penalties, including a combined 14 minutes assessed to Fond du Lac's Sabel and Fox Cities' Nick Janssen. Goaltender Justin Davidson turned away 29 shots for the Bears in the decisive win.

Eagle River Falcons 6, Mosinee Papermakers 3
Mosinee struck first late in the opening period of game one of the River Cup series with Alex Molski finding the net, but Eagle River responded quickly as Todd Koritzinsky evened the score. The teams traded goals in the second, with Nicholas D’Avolio scoring twice for Mosinee while Mitch Idalski and Layne Roeser answered for the Falcons. Eagle River took control in the final frame, outshooting Mosinee 20-6 and netting three unanswered goals, including a power-play tally from Zach Kennedy. Despite a strong effort from Mosinee’s Ryan Meich, who stopped 43 shots, the Falcons' offensive pressure proved too much to overcome.

M&M Shamrocks 12, Dane County Dairy Kings 4
Max Moore opened the scoring less than four minutes in for the Shamrocks, and Dallas McLaughlin followed with his first of three goals on the night. The Shamrocks capitalized on the power play with Ryan Ely’s tally, and Jim Winterbottom’s unassisted goal extended the lead. Despite a first-period goal from Connor Kruk, the Dairy Kings struggled to keep pace. A physical second period saw multiple penalties, including a high-sticking double minor and misconduct to Joey Enright, but the Shamrocks still extended their lead with goals from McLaughlin, Jon Holzbach, and Anton Brix. Carter Watters' power-play goal gave the Dairy Kings a brief spark, but the Shamrocks sealed the game with four more goals in the third. McLaughlin finished with five points, and goaltender Matt Zapp turned away 25 shots in the victory.

Saturday, March 1
Fond du Lac Bears 7, M&M Shamrocks 0

The Fond du Lac Bears came out flying, netting four goals in the opening period to set the tone for the night. Danny Roe opened the scoring just past the four-minute mark, and Brady Beekman added two goals of his own, while Nolan McDermott capped off the period with a buzzer-beater at 0:02. The Bears continued to dominate in the second, with Tom Glomski, Malachi Buchholz, and Dayne Deanovich each finding the back of the net. Goaltender Alex Kruger turned aside all 24 shots he faced, securing the shutout. The Shamrocks struggled to generate sustained offensive pressure and were unable to capitalize on three Fond du Lac penalties.

Fox Cities Ice Dogs 9, Dane County Dairy Kings 5
Fox Cities jumped out to a fast start, scoring four times in the opening period to take control of the game early. Rick Pinkston opened the scoring at 18:46, followed quickly by goals from Nick Janssen, Corey Thompson, and Tom Greene. Dane County got on the board with a goal from Adrien Kreitlow, but the Ice Dogs continued to apply pressure in the second, with Janssen netting two more to complete a hat trick. Despite goals from Chris Beyer and Felipe Vargas, the Dairy Kings struggled to close the gap. Fox Cities added one more in the third from Nick Henkemeyer, while Dane County fought until the final minutes with late goals from Nick Anger and Phil Bushbacher. The Ice Dogs outshot the Dairy Kings 41-36.

Eagle River Falcons 6, Mosinee Papermakers 4
Eagle River secured a hard-fought victory over Mosinee, fueled by a strong third-period surge. Todd Koritzinsky opened the scoring for the Falcons in the first, but Mosinee responded with a goal from Max Culp to even things up. The teams traded goals in the second, with Bryan Kronberger and Zach Kennedy striking for Eagle River, while Tyler Cleveland and Trey Zagrzebski answered for the Papermakers. The Falcons pulled ahead in the final frame as Alex Hauswirth and Evan Janssen found the net, and Kennedy sealed the win with an empty-net goal in the final second. Mosinee's James Jernberg kept things close late, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Eagle River’s offensive push. The Falcons' victory also secured the annual River Cup series against Mosinee.

Calumet Wolverines 5, De Pere Deacons 2
Calumet struck first with Matt Yeo converting on the power play midway through the first period, then added another goal less than ten minutes later to build an early lead. De Pere answered just before the intermission with a power-play goal from Kole Altergott, but the Wolverines maintained control. Janne Rukamp pulled the Deacons even in the second, but Sherman Mowery restored Calumet’s lead minutes later. The Wolverines sealed the win in the third with a goal from Donnie Nicely and an empty-netter from Mowery. Both teams finished with 35 shots, but Calumet’s Matthew Ryynanen stood tall in net, making 33 saves.

Sunday, March 2
Portage Lake Pioneers 5, De Pere Deacons 2

Portage Lake jumped out to an early lead with goals from Matt Marchel and Spencer Donnelly in the first period before De Pere’s Kolton Huff responded to cut the deficit. Marchel struck again on the power play late in the second, extending the Pioneers’ advantage. Huff netted his second goal early in the third, but Portage Lake answered quickly, as Dawson McKay and Ross Rouleau sealed the win with back-to-back tallies. De Pere outshot Portage Lake 48-44, but Pioneers' goaltender Aaron Petrulis stood tall with 46 saves. The game saw several penalties, including a 10-minute misconduct for checking from behind assessed to both teams.
