Fond du Lac erased an early deficit and poured it on from there, scoring four times in the first period, six more in the second, and five in the third to cruise past Sun Prairie. Nick Sirota led the way with six points on three goals and three assists, while Matt Letmanski added a hat trick and Dillion Fox and Anthony Grebe each finished with five points. After the Killer Bees struck three times in the opening frame, the Bears rattled off 12 unanswered goals, outshooting Sun Prairie 65–26 on the night. Lucas Zimmerman turned aside 23 shots to secure the win as Fond du Lac capped the night with goals from five different skaters in the third period.
