Home ice ruled the night as the Falcons, Papermakers, and Bears each earned decisive wins in GLHL action.

Saturday, January 3
Eagle River Falcons 8, Calumet Wolverines 5

Eagle River exploded for six goals in the second period to flip the game and pull away from Calumet on Saturday night. After the Wolverines jumped out to a 3–1 lead late in the first, the Falcons answered with a dominant middle frame that included goals from Alex Hauswirth on the power play, Cody Everson, Todd Koritzinsky, Joey Roach, Jacob Robinson, and Lochlan Siegmeier. Calumet cut into the deficit with two third-period goals from Matt Yeo and Carson Kariniemi, but Lucas Otto’s tally midway through the period sealed it. Koritzinsky led Eagle River with four points (1G, 3A), while Jacob Robinson added three points. The Falcons outshot the Wolverines 44–35, and Mathias Anderson stopped 30 shots to earn the win.

Mosinee Papermakers 11, Sun Prairie Killer Bees 3
Mosinee set the tone early with five first-period goals and never looked back, rolling to an 11–3 road win over Sun Prairie. Devon Blaes and Owen Ahlstrom each recorded hat tricks, while Tyler Loomis, T.J. Christensen, Kyle Wagner, and Jack Piskula also found the back of the net. Sun Prairie got second-period goals from Wyatt Kniper and Chad Battisfore and added a third-period power-play tally from Joey Ferraro, but Mosinee answered with four goals in the final frame to pull away. The Papermakers dominated the shot clock 55–29, and Austin Jensen stopped 26 shots to secure the win.

Fond du Lac Bears 6, Fox Cities Ice Dogs 1
Fond du Lac controlled the game from the opening period and pulled away with a convincing 6–1 win over the Ice Dogs on Saturday night. After Fox Cities struck first on a Jason McAloon power-play goal, the Bears answered immediately as Matt Letmanski scored twice in a 3:25 span to give Fond du Lac the lead for good. Letmanski completed his hat trick with a power-play goal early in the second, and Tom Glomski added another before the intermission. Blake Spies capped the scoring with two third-period goals as the Bears outshot Fox Cities 40–28. Justin Davidson turned aside 27 of 28 shots to earn the win in net.
