The Fond du Lac Bears fired on all cylinders on home ice to win the 2014 Great Lakes Hockey League tournament. The Bears defeated the regular season champion West Bend Bombers 7-1 in the final.
Fond du Lac swept the tournament, including wins over Eagle River and Mosinee in the round robin portion, and a victor over the Portage Lake Pioneers in the semifinals Saturday night.
This is the second time in the past three seasons that the Bears have come away from the league's tournament with the historic Kohlman Cup.
