The Fond du Lac Bears overpowered the Sun Prairie Killer Bees with a decisive 7-1 victory on Friday night. The Bears set the tone early, scoring three goals in the first period. Sun Prairie’s lone goal came in the first period, but it was all Bears from there. Fond du Lac outshot the Killer Bees 40-30, and with a nearly perfect performance by goaltender Alex Kruger, who posted a .967 save percentage.

The Fox Cities Ice Dogs rallied from a three-goal deficit to defeat the Dane County Dairy Kings 5-4 in an intense matchup at the Verona Ice Arena. Despite trailing 3-0 after the first period, with early goals from Dairy Kings' Werlein, Schoenike, and Uttech, the Ice Dogs chipped away, scoring twice in the second period. Dairy Kings' Trione temporarily widened the lead, but Fox Cities’ Elkin responded with an unassisted goal, keeping them within reach. The Ice Dogs surged in the third, netting three unanswered goals from Kealy and LaFave, who scored twice, clinching the comeback. Both teams fired 53 shots on goal, with Ice Dogs' goalie Chaney making 49 saves, outlasting Dairy Kings' Nappier’s solid performance.
